Fat Beehive - LIVE: Bright new site for Leeds Children’s Charity

Every year, hundreds of underprivileged children from Leeds are given a much needed holiday from difficult home lives and tough family circumstances. They get the opportunity to enjoy playing, to make new friends and focus on being children, away from the pressures they face day-to-day.

To help better serve the needs of these children and their families, Leeds Children’s Charity merged with Lineham Farm, to continue delivering respite breaks and to build a world-class residential learning facility. Giving those who need it most, a break to remember.

After the merger of the two organisations, a website was needed to present the vibrant new brand and to provide a platform that maximises the exposure of the charity’s commendable work as well as attract local investment.

Leeds Children's Charity new website design

Our comprehensive discovery phase included user workshops and research, which restructured the information architecture to be more user-centric. We updated the design so that it better reflects the charity’s brand and personality, capturing the playful nature of the work the charity is involved in, while also being geared towards a grown-up audience. We revamped the donation page, providing smooth workflows to monthly and single donation options with CommittedGiving handling all transactions securely off-site.

The newly merged charity site is a more visually-engaging proposition for local investment. It’s modernised the curb appeal of this centenarian charity as it tirelessly continues to serve the children of Leeds.
