About the Role

We are looking for a Frontend Developer to join our support team. This role focuses on maintaining and enhancing existing client websites rather than delivering brand new builds. You will work closely with our account managers and backend developers to deliver high-quality updates, bug fixes, and improvements across a wide range of client sites.

The ideal candidate will have strong skills in Sass/SCSS and Twig templating, along with a solid understanding of working within CMS environments such as WordPress and Drupal.

The candidate will work 3 days a week in our Lagos office – based in Lekki Phase 1.

  • Develop and maintain responsive, accessible templates and components using Sass/SCSS and Twig.
  • Ensure updates are integrated smoothly within WordPress and Drupal
  • Optimise frontend performance, accessibility, and cross-browser/device compatibility.
  • Work with account managers to understand client requirements and provide practical solutions.

  • Maintain clean, reusable, and well-documented code.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript fundamentals.
  • Expertise in Sass/SCSS and structured CSS methodologies (e.g., BEM, ITCSS).
  • Practical experience with Twig templating (or similar templating engines).
  • Familiarity with WordPress and Drupal frontend integration.
  • Experience with Git version control.
  • Attention to detail in translating design updates and ensuring consistency across sites.
  • Experience using command line tools beyond the basics – you should know how to debug using terminal and logs

Desirable Skills

  • Understanding of accessibility guidelines (WCAG).
  • Experience with build tools such as Webpack, Gulp, or Vite.
  • Knowledge of performance optimisation techniques.
  • Exposure to frontend testing tools and approaches.

Personal Attributes

  • Reliable and methodical with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Able to balance multiple support tasks efficiently.
  • Comfortable working in a client-focused environment via account managers.

Proactive, collaborative, and eager to maintain high coding standards.
