We’re seeking a creative Digital Designer with a keen eye for detail to join our team. You will undertake the duties and responsibilities related to website interface design, branding and graphic design. You’ll dive into a mix of projects in a fast-paced agency environment, ensuring our clients’ digital presence not only looks fantastic but also truly connects with their users.
What you’ll do:
- Interpret design briefs, discovery research, recommendations, and wireframes into beautiful, user-centric digital designs.
- Develop new brand identities, including logo design and visual style guides.
- Utilise Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud to create and adapt bespoke designs for new and existing clients.
- Implement accessibility best practices, demonstrating an understanding of different user needs.
- Design high-fidelity static and interactive prototypes for client presentations.
- Present design concepts clearly and effectively to clients and internal stakeholders, articulating design decisions and rationale.
- Manage and deliver multiple projects swiftly in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, designers, and developers, to bring ideas to life.
- Incorporate feedback effectively, iterating on designs to achieve the best possible outcomes.
What you bring:
- Exceptional creativity and a strong portfolio showcasing your digital design expertise.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate design concepts internally and externally.
- A solid understanding of user-centred design principles and best practices, with the ability to understand user challenges and propose creative, user-centred solutions.
- A sharp eye for design and a passion for creating high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
- A collaborative approach to projects and a positive attitude.
- Strong proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Knowledge of web accessibility standards, particularly designing according to WCAG 2.2 guidelines.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team, comfortable giving and receiving feedback from team members.
- Experience with branding and working effectively within existing brand guidelines.
- Ability to thrive under tight deadlines and adapt to evolving project requirements.
- Bonus points if you have animation skills!
