Digital Designer (Lagos, Nigeria)

We're seeking a creative Digital Designer with a keen eye for detail to join our team. You will undertake the duties and responsibilities related to website interface design, branding and graphic design. You'll dive into a mix of projects in a fast-paced agency environment, ensuring our clients' digital presence not only looks fantastic but also truly connects with their users.

What you’ll do:

  • Interpret design briefs, discovery research, recommendations, and wireframes into beautiful, user-centric digital designs.
  • Develop new brand identities, including logo design and visual style guides.
  • Utilize Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud to create and adapt bespoke designs for new and existing clients.
  • Implement accessibility best practices, demonstrating an understanding of different user needs.
  • Design high-fidelity static and interactive prototypes for client presentations.
  • Present design concepts clearly and effectively to clients and internal stakeholders, articulating design decisions and rationale.
  • Manage and deliver multiple projects swiftly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, designers, and developers, to bring ideas to life.
  • Incorporate feedback effectively, iterating on designs to achieve the best possible outcomes.

What you bring:

  • Exceptional creativity and a strong portfolio showcasing your digital design expertise.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate design concepts internally and externally.
  • A solid understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices, with the ability to understand user challenges and propose creative, user-centered solutions.
  • A sharp eye for design and a passion for creating high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
  • A collaborative approach to projects and a positive attitude.
  • Strong proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Knowledge of web accessibility standards, particularly designing according to WCAG 2.2 guidelines.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team, comfortable giving and receiving feedback from team members.
  • Experience with branding and working effectively within existing brand guidelines.
  • Strong background and experience in core web design, with a primary focus on crafting high-fidelity websites and digital storytelling is a must.
  • Ability to thrive under tight deadlines and adapt to evolving project requirements.
  • Bonus points if you have animation skills!
