A night to remember with Dogs for Good

This year's Dogs for Good Gala Dinner was hosted by Clare Balding and a good time was had by all.

A night to remember!

Fat Beehive had the pleasure of attending the 2025 Dogs for Good Gala Dinner last week — and what a night it was. Held at the stunning Dallas Burston Polo Club, the evening brought together 270 guests, seven impeccably behaved assistance dogs, and a huge sense of community. Back for a second year, the event was once again brilliantly hosted by Clare Balding, who generously donated her time and kept the evening flowing with charm, wit and warm enthusiasm.

Celebrating in style

The Gala is more than just a dinner — it’s a chance to celebrate the charity’s extraordinary work and the people who make it possible. From dedicated volunteers and corporate partners to the staff, supporters, and of course the dogs themselves, the event celebrated the inspiring people and stories behind the charity’s work — with plenty of moving moments and the occasional happy tear.

Dogs for Good is a charity with a big heart and even bigger ambitions. Their mission is to create better lives for people through the power of expertly trained dogs. From assistance dogs for adults and children with disabilities, to community dogs working in schools and social care settings, their impact is wide-ranging and profound. In 2024 alone, they supported over 1,200 people nationally — and by 2028, they’re aiming to increase that to 4,000 annually.

A proud partner

Digital transformation is a crucial part of that journey, and we’re proud to be supporting it. Fat Beehive has been working with Dogs for Good on a new website that’s designed to grow with them, helping raise awareness, increase donations, and make it easier for people to get involved. The site is due to go live this August — and we can’t wait to see the difference it will make.

Clare Balding – the perfect host

Huge thanks to the Dogs for Good team for including us in such a joyful, generous and purposeful evening. We left feeling inspired by the stories we heard — and more committed than ever to helping them achieve their goals.

Here’s to many more lives changed, one paw at a time.
