Choosing an image for your website isn’t always as simple as finding one you like. It also needs to work in the space available. An image can be the wrong shape or size for a particular part of a page, while automatic cropping can sometimes cut out the very thing you wanted people to see.

When you’re choosing an image from your Media Library, the plugin makes it easier to find images that match the dimensions or aspect ratio needed for that part of the website. That means less time trying different images only to discover that they don’t fit the space properly.
Once you’ve chosen your image, you can also set its focal point – the part you most want to keep in view. This is particularly useful when the same image appears at different sizes across the website. Instead of an automatic crop chopping off someone’s face or losing an important detail, the website knows which part of the image should remain visible.
For content editors, it takes some of the trial and error out of working with images. For your visitors, it means images are more consistently displayed as intended.
