Our approach
We began by working closely with Devon LMC to understand not only what they needed their website to do, but what they wanted it to be.
They described it as their “digital front door” – the place where first impressions are made, where clarity is found, and where every future initiative will take root.
From the outset, we took an integrated approach: combining discovery and UX planning with a dedicated brand workstream, so the organisation’s new identity and new membership website could evolve together.
That meant Devon LMC’s refreshed look and tone wasn’t something added at the end. It shaped the structure, navigation and user experience from the start.
The goal was to create a WordPress healthcare membership website that was clear, credible and easy for busy clinicians to use.
What we delivered
A new brand, a new website, and a foundation for long-term engagement.
The project brought together brand development, membership organisation website design, and a WordPress build that Devon LMC could manage confidently in-house.
We created a refreshed visual identity that feels more confident, cohesive and authoritative – without losing warmth or accessibility. Devon LMC wanted to move away from a visual style shaped by individual preference, and toward something more strategic and consistent. The new branding gives them a clearer sense of who they are, and a platform they can build on for years to come.
Alongside this, we rebuilt the Devon LMC website in WordPress with a clearer information architecture, stronger user journeys, and a calmer overall experience. The new site makes Devon LMC’s role and support offer much easier to understand – for everyone from GP registrars to practice managers and senior clinicians.
We also delivered a secure members’ area and dashboard, replacing the SharePoint hub with a modern secure member portal for healthcare professionals. Members can now access key tools, documents and resources in a way that feels modern, straightforward and reliable.
