CCLG: launching #ChildCancerSmart
Cancer remains the biggest killer by disease of children and teenagers in the UK, and delays in diagnosis can make outcomes even harder for families. That’s why our client CCLG (The Children & Young People’s Cancer Association) has just launched #ChildCancerSmart – a nationwide campaign designed to raise awareness and speed up diagnosis.
With campaign ambassador Dr Amir Khan on board, #ChildCancerSmart highlights a simple but crucial message: if a child has had three persistent symptoms, three GP visits without answers, or three weeks of unexplained illness – escalate. By making families and health professionals more aware of these red flags, the campaign aims to close the gap between first symptoms and diagnosis.
