Fat Beehive have always sought to provide website design for charity and not-for-profit organisations. This has included well known charities and organisations that are less obviously not-for-profit. Read about our reasons for focusing on charity website design.
“If you have done well, it’s your responsibility to send the elevator back down.”Jack Lemmon
We think for ourselves; we improve our methods through learning and reviewing our approach to website development. We engage with our clients' aims to design appropriate technical, structural and visual answers to the problem.
Our work needs to benefit your organisation. Your organisation needs to engage its audience. We need to understand what will engage that audience. Evidence to inform a website development is paramount.
To create the most effective work we need a relationship of trust. Trust allows both parties to be open and honest, and means we can create a more accurate, focused website.
We endeavour for our relationships to be fair to our clients and to us. We are transparent about our fees and flexible in our scheduling. We want you to work with us because we are fair, not because you are locked in.
We are motivated by working with organisations that do something useful, helpful and constructive. In most cases this means charity, social enterprise or other not-for-profit organisations, but it doesn’t exclude for profit companies.
We are accountable to our clients. We operate knowing that we need to be able to explain the reasons for our design and technical choices and recommendations, and to be accountable for the billing we issue to clients.
