Train and Explain to eliminate Pain-KCA Community Services

KCA works in and with communities to reduce the harms and costs to communities and individuals of substance misuse and mild to moderate mental health issues by providing a range of accessible, flexible and innovative services, developing community services and responding to needs not currently being met.

Fat Beehive helped develop a website design that clearly identified all the different groups using their site - from those who need help with addiction to those wishing for further training.

With very distinct user groups, clarity of design and precise navigation were necessary when designing the site's structure. The result is an easy to use, searchable website that contains all the information KCA's users need.

Using the BeeKeeper User Manager and Content Management Systems (CMS), KCA was able to:

  • create a password accessed area for their staff
  • a document library
  • an internal news feature that informs employees of upcoming training opportunities
  • an external news feature that announces conferences, training opportunities, and more
Most importantly, KCA gained full control of their website's contents. With the BeeKeeper CMS, employees are able to add, edit and delete pages, upload documents and change photos without tons of technical knowledge. Now KCA can provide up to date and accurate information to the families, professionals, young people, and community members that rely on their help.

“We can safely call it a major success! We are so very pleased with the website and it's been a pleasure working with Fat Beehive.”
