Caritas: Social Justice with a Catholic Conscience
The Caritas Social Action Network is a Catholic-based social action organisation promoting social justice in England and Wales.
By bringing together various groups across these two countries, CSAN aims to develop and improve the delivery of member programs through networking, theological reflection opportunities, and advocacy.
In order to achieve these goals, CSAN worked with Fat Beehive to redevelop their website into a useful tool for its member organisations. Fat Beehive's designers worked with Carita's in house designer to develop a unique look that met their needs.
Using the News and Events modules of the Beekeeper Content Management System, Caritas can inform members when new publications are available, announce training opportunities, conferences, and much more.
Invisible to the naked eye, Fat Beehive developed an Extranet for Caritas so members can exchange large documents and files easily, without tying up their email with bulky attachments. Not only did Caritas gain a functional, clean website, they gained tools that allow member organisations and administration communicate more effectively.
