Legal Librarians create an online space
BIALL, the British and Irish Association of Legal Librarians, is the leading professional body in the UK and Ireland for information professionals working with legal information. BIALL came to Fat Beehive seeking a website for their members. Without an official office and with members scattered across the UK and Ireland, a dynamic website was essential for member communication and interaction.
Because BIALL didn't have a logo and branding guidelines, our designer worked with them to create a site that was visually appealing and easy to read, while maintaining an appropriate level of professionalism. The homepage features content boxes driven by News, Events, and Jobs systems within the Beekeeper Content Management system, keeping the page updated and fresh automatically.
Members can view events and conferences, view the job board, download publications, and join the BIALL email forum. More importantly, the CMS allows members to update the website content through their web browsers no matter where they are located.
