Enham Alamein
3rd April 2008
Enham, the charitable trust, flies a couple of flags in the form of their new website.
Enham delivers a wide range of essential services that provide choice and empower for disabled people to make their own decisions about their lives. Enham also operates a number of Commercial Enterprises. These provide direct employment opportunities for disabled people, improve access to essential products and services and generate income to support Enham’s charitable objectives.
Enham has a long and interesting history since its origins in 1918 as a rehabilitation centre for ex-servicemen. See the Enham background and history page on their website.
Enham required a new website which presented a more professional image and that was easy to control. We designed a clean and clear layout and built in a number of tools that allows Enhams' staff to maintain the website.
- the BeeKeeper Content Management System - an easy to use, toolbar driven system which allows the adding, editing and deleting of pages and sub sections within the website
- a specific 'Homepage' content management module, allowing the setting up of multiple homepage layouts created from blocks of content
- a date based News System, primarily used here for publishing press releases
- an Events System, showing upcoming events in date based order
- a Jobs and Vacancies System - easy publishing of required positions
- our Form Builder System - allowing Enham to build and place forms throughout the website, where needed
- a Video Upload System so that Enham can put flash video format films on their website
- an Email Newsletter System with a pre-designed template to ensure all mail outs look consistent and readable
- an online shop where Enham can list products for sale and take online credit card payments.
