27th September 2006
ADRA Trans-Europe, the international relief and development charity, launch a new website designed and build by Fat Beehive Ltd.
www.adra-te.org

ADRA is an international humanitarian agency established by the Seventh-day Adventist Church to help individuals and communities through development projects and disaster relief.
ADRA Trans-Europe is a regional office in the ADRA network, providing support to 18 ADRA offices within its area.
Fat Beehive have designed and built the all new ADRA Trans-Europe website, which offers general information about ADRA's work in the region along with volunteering and resource details.
The website features a Members Area which is designed to share resources between ADRA Trans-Europe and the 18 offices that they support in the region. This password protected extranet allows offices from Albania to Sudan to use one common location to share documents and images.
Logging in takes users to the front page of the extranet which shows Network News - news relevant to offices across the region.
A document library allows users to upload documents and place them into specific folders. The library can be browsed by category, and documents downloaded to your PC simply and easily.
An image library displays thumbnails of images that members can download for use. Members can also upload images to the library, with ADRA Trans_Europe approving which images can be added to the library.
Member details and passwords are controlled by an administration system, allowing ADRA Trans-Europe to grant and deny access immediately.
The website also features a full site search and print style sheets, allowing visitors to easily print properly formatted pages from the site. A mailing list system allows ADRA Trans-Europe to create and send out email messages to an automatically managed list of subscribers.
