Children in Crisis exists to improve the lives of children around the world affected by conflict, deprivation, poverty or other hidden crises, by working in partnership with local communities to provide education, health and protection. Children in Crisis was founded in 1993 by the Duchess of York with the support of two current Trustees: Grahame Harding and Paul Szkiler.
Fat Beehive have designed and developed the Children in Crisis charity website in consultation with staff from the charity. This process includes the development of a main navigation and site structure. We typically attempt to keep a main navigation succinct, enabling site visitors to quickly understand the sites content and to easily locate information they require without having to make a multitude of baffling choices.
The website features full content management, allowing Children in Crisis staff to fully control the content of their site without the need for help from a web agency. Also featured are an automatically updating site map, a text only version of the site and a text resizer which allows the user to increase or decrease the text in the site.
