Multi-lingual site for Saferworld

Multi-lingual site for Saferworld
15th March 2006

Saferworld launch a new site that is available in English, French and Russian.

Saferworld is an independent non-governmental organisation that works to prevent armed violence and create safer communities in which people can lead peaceful and rewarding lives.

The new Saferworld website is a clear, functional and well organised site that features a full content management system (BeeKeeper v.1), allowing the control of content in English, French and Russian.

The site also features a publications system which allows Saferworld to easily upload documents and add meta data to these documents. The public can search for publications using a sophisticated search across title, author, date, region and other factors. Publications can individually be flagged to appear on the front page of the site for promotion when relevant.

The site offers a text resizer and text only facility, and a site wide search in addition to the publications search facility.
