Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) launch a new fully content managed site detailing their support for the health and medical needs of Palestinians.

Medical Aid for Palestinians is a UK charity who exist to provide support to the health and medical needs of Palestinians living under occupation in Gaza and the West Bank, to refugees in Lebanon and to other vulnerable communities in the region.

A thorough overhaul of the MAP website allowed Fat Beehive to develop the design to follow the overall branding of the organisation. Stark and hard hitting red, black and white compliments and gives brand recognition for MAPs' donation and information leaflets that are distributed frequently in newspapers.

The site is fully content managed via a web based system, allowing non-technical MAP staff to control and update information, including text, images and files (such as PDF and Word documents), throughout the site. The site can be expanded and contracted as needed by MAP by using the content management system, and a grey 'boxed out' section on the right of the layout allows for pertinent information to be highlighted on each page.

The MAP website makes use of WorldPay for secure donations and uses the BBCs' Betsie software to provide a text only version of the site, extending the sites accessibility.
