A decent cup of Teadirect
21st February 2005
Teadirect launch a campaign looking for tales of decency. Read the most amazing stories of kindness and helpfulness on the Cafédirect website.
With the website running along side a press campaign appearing in the Daily Mail, Teadirect are focusing on decency and the benefits of drinking a decent cup of tea.
The website is solliciting tales of decency from the general public and rewarding the writer of the best story with Tea for Two and an over night stay at the Ritz Hotel in London.
Stories include acts of generosity;
Mr Elliot Sylvester , Manchester
"The hanging basket outside my front door was in a terrible state last summer. One morning I awoke to find a brand new hanging basket where my dead one had been... There was a note, but all it said was 'random act of kindness-enjoy'!"
and stories of plain ol' decent behaviour;
Mr Jamie Douglas
"Last Friday night I found a phone on the street that had obviously fallen out of someone's pocket. I left the phone in a place where the owner could get it and called them to say where. They picked it up yesterday and left me £20. Decency all round."
