Sustainable Development Commission launches 'Creating Communities' website.
17th January 2005
The Sustainable Development Commission have launched a new section of their site, 'Creating Communities with a low environmental impact'.
The site has been created to coincide with the The Delivering Sustainable Communities Summit being held at the Manchester Gmex centre from January 31st to February 2nd.
The website is intended to become a forum for discussion and debate of the issues surrounding sustainable communities. To this end the site that Fat Beehive have built and embedded into the SDC's website template allows visitors to contribute case studies for the benefit of others.
Case Studies posted by users of the site consist of multiple pieces of information including project title and details, a main image plus slideshow images, web links and categorisations.
Case Studies added to the site are held in a pending state, allowing the SDC to approve new entries for publication on the site. Users are encouraged to comment on the case studies and in the SDC's forums to add to the discussion and debate.
